November 23, 2013 Leave a Comment

Many of us think of the Law of Attraction as being a relatively new concept. However, this secret knowledge has been known to mankind for many years. One such person who applied the Laws of the Universe, to become a millionaire within 4 years, was J. Earl Shoaff. He also inspired some of the most famous entrepreneurs, such as Jim Rohn and Zig Ziglar, on to success and wealth. That is why Earl Shoaff was known as, the Millionaire Maker.

J. Earl Shoaff Biography

Earl ShoaffJohn Earl Shoaff was born on 21 March 1916 into a modest farming family. A sickly child, Shoaff was born with a heart defect. Unlikely to live to a grand old age, Earl was determined to make the most of every day. Dropping out of school in 9th Grade, whilst just 14, Shoaff began working in a dry cleaners, where he quickly became promoted to manager.

Although eager to sign up to the armed forces, during World War II, his heart condition excluded him from doing so. So, he volunteered for the American Field Services and served in the medical corps as an ambulance driver. Unfortunately, the physical nature of the job caused further damage to Earl’s already weakened heart.

When he returned from war, Shoaff married his childhood sweetheart Flossie and together, they opened their own dry cleaning business, which they aptly named, “Earl’s Cleaners.”

They later sold the business and moved to California where Earl secured employment as a pants presser in a department store.

In 1953, Shoaff accompanied his neighbour to a success seminar in Long Beach, California. The speaker was a Dr J. B. Jones who was the founder of  a network marketing company called AbundaVita. Dr Jones believed in the laws of success and abundance. He traveled throughout the United States lecturing on how it was possible to achieve whatever you wanted out of life. His desire was to help every man achieve greater fulfillment. He wanted to awaken every man and woman to their true potential.

Shoaff firmly believed that people didn’t reach their full potential in life simply because they were unaware of the Universe’s infinite abundance of love, health and wealth. Even if they did believe, Shoaff believed that people unconsciously set themselves up to fail as they did not truly believe that they were capable of achieving such greatness. Although committed to helping others to help themselves Shoaff was extremely frustrated by what he termed, “mans persistence in clinging so tenaciously to lack and limitation.”

Three years before his premature death, Earl delivered the only known recording of his Millionaire Maker seminar. In this, he discusses the laws of the universe. How you are governed by them. How they work for you and how you must use them properly.
